The eight generation stories will take place in a new region, different than the previous series that take place in Kanto or Johto. The series will be in Galar, which is an industrial region, with fields, forests, mountains, and caves or an “idyllic countryside and contemporary cities-vast plains and snow-covered mountains” as said by the Pokemon Company. As usual, the trainer will be accompanied by one of 3 new Pokemon starters which are Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
