Get Familiar with The Starter Pokemon of Sword and Shield!

Pokemon Sword and Shield, a new journey for all the trainers around the world have been announced. The eight generation stories will take place in a new region, different than the previous series that take place in Kanto or Johto. The series will be in Galar, which is an industrial region, with fields, forests, mountains, and caves or an “idyllic countryside and contemporary cities-vast plains and snow-covered mountains” as said by the Pokemon Company. As usual, the trainer will be accompanied by one of 3 new Pokemon starters which are Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

The First one is a grass type, its name is Grookey. It is a mischievous and boundless curious personality as described at Nintendo Pokemon Direct. The Chimp Pokemon was shown easily climbing and smiling at the top of a tall building.

The second one is a fire type, Scorbunny. The fire type can make a super-effective move against a grass type. This rabbit pokemon is known for always running around with a lot of energy. You can see that it is super fast and leave a trail of fire on the spot.

The last one will be Sobble, the water lizard. Yup, different than the others, it is a water type pokemon. It has a timid personality. It is shown in his act of shooting out attacks as it hides in the water. Sobble can also blend-in with his surroundings.

It is still unknown for the other new pokemon to make an appearances in Pokemon Sword and Shield, but some of you might notice that some representative from recent series will come into sight, for example; Pikachu from Red, Blue and Yellow; Grubbin and Wishiwashi from Sun and Moon; Minccino, Braviary and Zweilous from Black and White; Hoothoot and Tyranitar from Gold, Silver and Crystal; Flygon and Wailmer from Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, LeafGreen and Emerald; Braviary from X and Y; Lucario and Munchlax from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will be available on Nintendo Switch in late 2019. The release date is still unannounced.
