Hey everyone, Nick here, providing you more awesome Japanese game reviews. Today, I am bringing you a really fun and simple game that I think many of you SM fans may enjoy! The title is Sailor Moon Drops, developed and published by Bandai Namco and available free to download and play on the Japanese Apple iTunes App Store now! This is a jeweled-pusher puzzle game that is on the top of the download charts in Japan and I can definitely see why it's so addicting. Let's check it out!

First of all, this game was probably created because Sailor Moon has been celebrating it 25th anniversary during the year, hence the anime re-make that was more authentic than the original anime, to the manga (I know. Opinions vary, here). All of the characters in the story have been transformed into chibi versions of themselves which kind of gives this game a fun spin. The original story, is actually intact except with a puzzle form of a game, here! I really liked how all of the it unfolds with all of the memorable characters, including the fabulous enemies which makes this very Sailor Moon!

The mechanics of the game are simple: you basically match the corresponding jewels to create combos and points to complete the levels within the amount of turns available to you per each stage. Any extra turns after accumulating the goal point amount, you get a "Luna Bonus" where Luna (the cat from the series) jumps around the screen and gives you additional combo points! Swiping does just fine making these combos, but there are also battle stages that involve tapping an attack icon to gain extra points against an opponent.
