The game starts off very simple: You begin with a runner tutorial teaching you how to maneuver Shin-chan yourself, through taps and jumps and double jumps to get the most points and score bonuses. You collect both stars and different sweets to attain points through the runner game, while avoiding enemies and different holes throughout the running platformer. One unique feature in the game is that there is a "Cosplay" mode in which you can earn points to dress up Shin-chan in different funny and unique costumes.
I found this game to be both fun and straight forward so it has a lasting appeal to it, especially for an iOS game. One cool portion of the game is the higher points and different things you do you complete missions and get special achievements. These points can be used to buy outfits from the cosplay shop or various boosters to aid in future running attempts. It should be noted that there is a "backpack" icon that shows you how many turns you have before you need to wait to play again. These can also be purchased with points or with yen from iTunes Japan Gift Card credit on your Japanese apple ID. If you don't have a Japanese iTunes Account and Japanese Apple ID yet, check this quick guide. Let's check out some actual Shin-chan gameplay in a video I've included below!
