For those of you who have been playing Japanese games on your phone for a while or at least an anime enthusiast, you have likely heard about Love Live!. If you have never heard about them, it is a multimedia franchise revolving around school girls that are trying to become an idol. Their franchise began back in 2010 and their popularity grew bigger and bigger as they released their games. Now, some of you might be wondering,which one do you think is the best Love Live! game for you? Worry not, we are here to help you with that!

Love Live! School Idol Festival (2013 - iOS & Android)

School Idol Festival is the first Love Live! game that was released back in 2013 for Smartphones. Since they already have tons of well known songs as well as characters, it was not a surprise that their first game is a rhythm game. Not only it is the oldest Love Live! games, it is also the most well known and popular one.

Love Live! School Idol Paradise (August 28, 2014 - PlayStation Vita)

Unlike the other Love Live! games out there, this one was released in 3 volumes, each focusing on a different unit. The first one focuses on Printemps, second on BiBi, and last one on Lily White. Not only that, each of the volumes also includes 5 exclusive songs. Which means you will have to collect all the volumes in order to play them all.

Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ (December 6, 2016 - Arcade)

Out of all the Love Live! games, you won’t probably be able to play this from your home.The reason is simple because this one particular game is an Arcade game. So unless your home is an arcade OR you have waaay too much money to burn, it is unlikely that you can play this on your place. ...or can you? ;)

Puchiguru Love Live! (April 24, 2018 to May 31, 2019 - iOS & Android)

Compared to the rest of the Love Live! games out there, this one has a totally different graphic as well as game play. Although you can still find your beloved franchise characters, their proportion has totally changed. The girls have now turned into a nesoberi nuigurumi in order to accommodate its gameplay of tapping the connected characters. Although the service of this Love Live! Game has been terminated in 2019, their nesoberi nuigurumi seems to be one of the most well known merchandise out there.

Love Live! School Idol ALL STARS (September 26, 2019 - iOS & Android)

The next Love Live! game in our list is Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS that was just released last year. Unlike the School Idol Festival which is a pure rhythm game that heavily relies on your skill, this one focuses more on strategizing on how to perfect your team for a certain song. So if your skill is as bad as mine, School Idol ALL STARS might be the Love Live! game for us.

Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ WaiWai! Home Meeting!! (March 24, 2021 - PS 4)

Last one on our list of Love Live! games is Love Live! School idol festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ WaiWai! Home Meeting!!! Sounds familiar? Well… this one is actually a rendition of its arcade version. Although it has not been released yet, it has been confirmed that this will be released for PS4 by the end of March next year. Although there was still not much info about the details, we sure look forward for this one!
