Hey guys, Nick here bringing you more exciting and cool game reviews and previews from Japan. We just heard word, through the latest weekly magazine issue of Famitsu revealed that the title Taiko Drum Master: Doko Don! Mystery Adventure will be coming exclusively to Nintendo 3DS! Let's check it out!
If you are like me you have been crazy about these Japanese rhythm games for nearly a decade or more, now. If you don't know about this franchise, Taiko Drum Master is the type of game that you could only expect, directly from Japan. It's a single-drum rhythm game where you tap to the beat, on either a physical drum (arcade-style), or a virtual drum top, much seen in the mobile and handheld versions of the game.
The aesthetics of this game are wildly Japanese and the music is what most people remember about this game. You will often find traditional Japanese music with heavy drum presence or even some J-Pop and modernized music. My favorite part is that the control of the game allows for long drum-rolls, heavy hits and side snare taps. Pretty cool for a drumming game, huh?
Above, I've posted a video to give you a first-hand look at how the game is generally played. With this upcoming new release of the game, we will find a mystery adventure mode attached to the 3DS title. Not much word other than it's been a mode of play we have not seen before. Stay tuned for more updated!
Remember, you are going to want to charge up your Nintendo Shop account so that you can download and play this title. Be sure to pick up your Japanese Nintendo Wii Shop Gift Cards so that you can get it as soon as it's released.

Hey guys, Nick here bringing you more exciting Japan game news for your enjoyment. Today, I'm bringing you more from Koei Tecmo's beloved fighting game series, Dead or Alive, with information on the up and coming release of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PS4, and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita, in Japan. Let's check it out!
The latest trailer (above) has been released with more teasing details of the various characters you can play as in this game. It's no surprise that the women are scantily clad in bathing suits with ridiculous bust size measurements, as this is a strange trademark of the game. Perhaps the fan base enjoys this? Let me know in the comment section below!
The graphics look nice but this is a little much, don't you think..!?
Though the series had some fighting elements in the past, this version will be all about volleyball, so it's considered more of a sports game. Hardcore fans appreciate the sexiness, but I am not sure it's going to appeal to women very much. It's a bit fan service heavy, but it will make for some great fun and great laughs.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PS4, and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita, is due to be released on March 24th, in Japan. There will also be an English international version from the Japan PSN store! Be sure to check out our guide, if you don't yet have access to the Japanese PlayStation Network!
Hey guys, Nick here bringing you more fun and exciting news from the Japan gaming market. Today, we found out some more details on the epic RPG, Dragon Quest Heroes II:The Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End, by Square Enix. This is the sequel to the very popular RPG for PS3 and PS4, from the Dragon Quest franchise. Let's check it out!
Square Enix, recently released information on certain details of the game, that I think you guys will be excited to hear about! According to Gematsu, you will prepare for all of your adventures in a central town where you will re-gear and strengthen your characters. In this game, you have the option to use many characters to fight through a great war (Thanks Gematsu)!
As you are in the town, you'll talk to different NPCs to get information for pertinent quests, within the story line and game. There are various buildings that offer services, such as blacksmith, armory, and other sorts of utilities that will help you through the game. The cool part about this, is that you will always head back to the same town, so you should take your time and get to know its whereabouts very well!
As you head to various destinations you will encounter enemies along the way. Item collection is very vital to your strength in this game, as you can craft with various random materials that you loot in the field. It's a good idea to farm certain areas when you are trying to gear up.
Back inside town you will organize parties within the bar establishment. It will add allies and party members to help you on your journeys and quests. What do you guys think so far? Would this be the type of game you would play for your PlayStation console? Let me know in the comment section below! Below, I've linked a trailer of the upcoming game for your enjoyment! I hope you guys like it. :)
