Hi everyone, Nick here again bringing you more exciting Japanese game reviews on the Japan iTunes Store! Today I have tried a game that is super fun that I think you guys will seriously enjoy if you into monster collecting and grand prix-type games. The title of the game is called 爆走!モンスターダッシュ, or Monster Dash and it is developed and published by Mobcast Inc,. I really liked both the art-style and the way the game plays and hopefully you all will too! This was the top grossing game of the summer on the Japanese App Store so let's check it out!

The game starts out with you having to select a monster that you will be your main character for the time being within the tutorial. Do not worry because you will be able to collect and race/fight with many many more going forward! For this instance I choose a little hampster in a ball that read as grass elemental. Interestingly enough, all of these monsters have various elemental attributes to them, and you will see that on their character page when looking up close. Immediately I was thrown into a mario-kart type race where I had to tap-tap-tap to the finish and beat out other monsters to the finish line! It was difficult because certain elemental attributed monsters do well on various different terrain. For example about half into the race we hit water and the sea turtle monster (another opponent) had hit the lead because of their water advantage.

The fun part about this game is that is a combination of a monster collect TCG and also a racer game. I've never seen one of this kind yet? What do you guys think? Do you think you would ever give this title a try? Additionally, there is a special friend code event going on and I found a video below that will show you how exactly to sign up and get the bonus event referral!

As you may have figured this game is available exclusively on the Japanese Apple iTunes App Store. It is free to download and pay but there are in-app purchases you can make to help enhance your gaming experience. A lot of my readers have asked about how exactly to sign up for a Japanese Apple ID so we made a five minute guide for you! Be sure to check it out so that you can access all of this content plus more on the Japanese iTunes Store!

At JapanCodeSupply we work hard to be the leading source in games, and provide you the safest, fastest and cheapest Japanese iTunes Gift Cards so that you can enjoy games like this!
