Hello all, Nick here again bringing you more of the latest and greatest game reviews from the mobile Japanese market! Today's game is a pretty awesome and adorable city simulator available exclusively on the Japan Apple iTunes App Store called, マッピーナ or Mappina developed by Copan Inc.! This game is a very awesome blend between city simulation, Farmville and other type of games that involve building a world while also giving it your own unique flair and style! Let's check it out!
The fun part about this game is that you can actually build your own awesome city from complete scratch! You have control on everything, from the siding of the homes, to the different pieces of decor you can put all around your city! I really enjoyed picking and choosing where everything would go in my city! Additionally, there is a multiplayer function to the game as well! I was hitting the travel button and it would take me to other user's cities, which were way more fancy than mine, so I spent a lot of time looking into them and enjoying what they had inside them! Lots of people had seasonal statues and giant sculptures displayed throughout their cities.
As you can see in the pictures above a lot of appeal of this title is the extremely adorable aesthetic that the game offers. I also really enjoyed the very simplistic user interface which allows for item purchasing, organizing your things and also going to visit other players! As you continue to do different things on the map, and complete quests you will be rewarded in-game currency and experience points to build your level. The higher your level, the more things you can place inside of your city!
Above, I've included an intro on how the game works in video-form to give you a more in-depth view of how the game is! Let me know what you what you guys think in the comment section, as I always love hearing your feedback! A lot of my readers have been asking how exactly do I play Japanese games on my American iOS devices so we at JapanCodeSupply have created a quick guide to get you started! Overall, I found the game extremely enjoyable and also very adorable!
