Today's blog post is for all of the casino and pachinko lovers out there! Colpol has developed a game called Tokyo Casino Project 東京カジノプロジェク for iOS and Android devices which will include several gambling "for fun" games within the app! Colpol is looking to use games such as blackjack, and poker, plus a few others we may not expect to see with a very detailed casino management system. This part will allow the player to build a casino resort island and succeed with tasks before unlocking each game.
One awesome aspect of the game will be the character creation feature. Apparently, the developers have included 50 avatars, who you can use to manuver around the casinos in a 3D world.
In Tokyo Casino Project, direction-based movement is going to be done through Colpol's one-finger control system, dubbed 'Punikon". Additionally, you'll be able to play against other players in real time in a 'casino league'. This seems like something that could be really addicting, especially if the games stay simple. Personally, I would hope they wouldn't be too difficult and convoluted, especially in Japanese. Check out the promotional video, below and let me know what you think in the comment section!
Overall, I think this game could be extremely promising for both the Japanese and international mobile game market. Tokyo Casino Project 東京カジノプロジェク is said to be released in the Spring of 2015, so I will make sure to bring you some more updates on this game as it is released. No word yet on the price of the game, or if it will be free to download. I am sure there will be some sort of cash-shop options for the player, so make sure that you pick up your Japan iTunes Gift Card to open your Japan Apple ID for the release of the game. As always, you can pick up reliable gift cards at JapanCodeSupply.
